Hello, my name is Kelly Russell and I am the owner and manager of Milestones Child Development Centers, a local, Michigan based business. I currently reside in Caledonia, Michigan with my husband and three children. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a teacher. I grew up in Michigan in a family that holds a strong presence in the field of education; they taught me the importance of early childhood education. I attended Western Michigan University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and then continued my studies to complete my Child Development Associates Credential. I have been working with children for the past 20 years teaching preschool and directing child development centers. Teaching Early Childhood curriculum is where my passion lies and is what sparked my interest in opening my own school where I could use my expertise to create and implement programs which would be of great value, learning and fun for children.

Every aspect of Milestones’ centers continues to be created with the best interests of the children who attend our schools in mind. The Cascade center opened in the fall of 2005 and has proven to be every bit the success I envisioned. A second center was opened in the Belmont/Rockford area in June of 2007. Milestones expanded to the Caledonia area in June, 2012. All locations are state-of-the-art facilities with spacious natural playgrounds and outdoor classrooms. I am very thankful to have a wonderful administrative and teaching team around me every day that utilize their creativity and passion to make Milestones a very special place for your children.
